Rebecca, Jordan, Ella and Carolyn were in Sutton’s Bay for
the weekend and we had so much fun hanging out with them! Once I wrapped up the
work week on Friday – I was ready for the REAL vacation to begin.
On Friday, we all played on the beach at Sutton’s Bay and
then had dinner at the Bolton’s condo outside. Rebecca and Carolyn had some
gifts for Avery – One was a “Strawlerry” cake that Avery could cut and serve.
The packaging literally said “Strawlerry”. Avery loved it so much she went to
bed with the whole cake on Friday night.
After playing with presents, we went for a walk and found a horse that
the girls got to pet. Avery sobbed when we had to leave the horse – she just
loved it. But the promise if ice cream quickly dried up the tears.
On Saturday we went raspberry picking – or, in Avery’s case,
raspberry eating. The farm also had some goats, donkeys and llamas which the
girls loved petting and feeding lettuce. We had dinner in Leland at the
Bluebird on Saturday and the girls played on the front lawn. We ended the night
with more ice cream!!
It was a great visit and we were sad to see them go!
