Tay had his first golf match of the Spring Season - He was put in a group with who he calls the "
Big Dogs" and came in first place by 1 stroke with a score of 43!! He double bogey'ed the last hole and gave us a little scare but he pulled it together and hit a tough putt to take keep the lead. Seeing him so happy and proud and smiling was just a joy. Sadly Hung had to miss as he was in Michigan with his Mom and Du but Aves drove the golf cart for me and was the best cheerleader for her brother. We had celebratory ice cream after the big win. Perfect end to the weekend!

Math Bowl
Tay tried out and made it on the Oak Trace Math Bowl team. One of our fave teachers Mrs. Loring was the coach so that was a bonus. He practiced hard for weeks on end and was chosen to be one of the Team Captains. The placed 3rd out of the Westfield Elementary Schools and it was fun to watch them compete and think through the problems. He also had quite the cheering squad. I hope he tries out again next year!

Spring Break 2026
Avery was invited to spend the week on the beach in Siesta Key with the Moeller's, Claire and Parker. She got in lots of sun and fun and had a blast!
Hung, Tay and I traveled to South Carolina to visit the Sheehan's. The boys got in 2 rounds of golf and Tay had his BEST round ever (93) and was so excited. Heather and I had a lot of time to relax and explore Beaufort including a historical tour focusing in the reconstruction period which was really eye-opening. We also got in a beach day and had tons of great meals and amazing company. It was a relaxing and fun getaway!

National Champs!
We postponed our Spring Break trip to South Carolina to experience the Final 4 in Indy. We sorely missed Avery who left for Siesta Key with her besties but the rest of us had a BLAST watching Michigan win it all.
We spent Final Four Saturday with Jill and Jaxson Wrobel. Michigan dominated Arizona making it an easy win to get to the final game. Sanjay, Karen, Jeff and Sydney joined us for the Championship - It was a slog of a game but the best team prevailed and it was magical to watch them win it ALL! Go Blue and congrats to the greatest Michigan basketball team of all time. It was a joy to experience! And Taylor is now a full-on, all-in Michigan bball fan!
