The 4th graders had to dress as their favorite idiom on Friday. Avery went as "When life gives you lemons".

 

Happy Halloween 2021!

 We had an awesome Halloween weekend! Nate and Debbie were in town performing in a Rocky Horror Picture Show Cabaret show with the Skivvies which the adults got to attend on Saturday night. The kids had fun at the Halloween Neighborhood party bouncing in the bounce house, running around with friends and enjoying lots of treats!! 

The weather was beautiful on Sunday! We started with the girls getting nails done for Florida, Tay had some more bounce house time before it was picked up, we played lots of pinochle with Grandpa and Chili and Cornbread were made. G came over (as a LadyBug) and was our trusty candy passer-outer while the rest of us trick-or-treated. Avery ran around with her friends so we barely saw her but she had a blast and candy-traded with her besties when they finished the neighborhood - She looked amazing as an evil jester with hair and makeup done by Aunt Debbie! The rest of us walked around with Tay who was dressed as Charmander - He ran practically the whole time with a couple stops at the park to do the monkey bars. It was the most he has been into Halloween ever!! Nate and Debbie were good sports and also work Pokemon onesies to match Tay. It was a successful Halloween and now we are all tired :)

Fall Break 2021

 This Fall Break was a "Staycation" but I think the kids had a blast! Since Uncle Cullen also had the week off he was able to keep the kids occupied and he kept the BUSY!

• Monday - Went to WIS and Avery got to see her new classrooms for next year and they roller-skated and played in the gym and on the play ground, got some Pokemon Cards and had lunch at a cool pizza place. Tay ordered a BBQ one and when the waitress left Tay asked if it at BBQ sauce. The answer was Yes and then he said "But I hate BBQ sauce". LOL. He still managed to eat a slice so Cullen was proud of him for trying!
• Tuesday they went to Defy Indy for some climbing and jumping. All was great until Cullen's phone was lost in a foam ball pit.....So that day ended a little early so Cullee could get a new phone :)
• Wednesday they went on a bottle flipping park challenge (Such a cool idea!) and ended with lunch and Mini-Golf. Then we headed to the Donnelson's for a dinner and Avery had a sleepover with Nora. Tay stayed busy bottle flipping and is also into making You-Tube videos on his "Taylor the Amazing" channel (Like a subscribe!).
• Thursday Avery got to have a special Uncle Cadoo Day (her b-day gift) which consisted of duck pin bowling, a goodwill fashion contest (Aves won per KJ and Taylor), lunch at La Marg, Video Game Arcade (since no one else was there to play Laser Tag with them), more games in the WIS gym, dinner, movie and sleepover! Tay got to spend the day at Aunt KJ's work with some other kids. They were also into Pokemon and Nintendo Switch so Tay had an absolute blast!!
• Friday they spent the day with Ms. Taylor painting pottery and going out to lunch. That night we all had dinner the Levinberg's and then they took Avery to see Willy Wonka at Clowes Hall.
• Saturday we went to Dull's Pumpkin Farm with the Levinberg's and Gill's. It was GORGEOUS weather and the kids had a blast.  They also got TOTALLY muddy - Tay wiped out basically the second we arrived and the mud just kept piling on. Tay really loved the ball mazes and Tire Mountain. The girls literally tried every activity. That night we had some neighbors over for Thai dinner and Smores.
• Sunday was a rainy and gloomy day so we relaxed - Avery and I finished the last Harry Potter movie so we are ready for Orlando!! And then we ended the weekend carving pumpkins with G and Uncle Du.

For not going anywhere, we had QUITE the awesome Fall Break! The 6:45 am alarm if going to be a rude awakening tomorrow....
