Father's Day Weekend

We had a family filled Father's Day weekend. Friday, I was able to leave work early and took Tay golfing - I was the caddy/driver and he golfed 18 holes. We had a blast - He explained to me how he assess his shots and chooses his club and we had such a fun Mom/Son Day!

On Saturday, the adults attended Megan Armato's wedding while Avery and Tay babysit Ben. They built lots of forts, played pretend, read books and watched a movie. It was some sweet cousin time!

Sunday, we all met for brunch at Trader's Point Creamery - One of Chuck's Favorites! Everyone LOVED their meal and we were able to explore the farm after and see some baby cows and play some pretend "restaurant". We then we went to G's for presents and Tay had some good Lizzie snuggles to go along with it!

Tay's Spring Golf Tournament

Tay's PGA+ Spring season just ended and had their tournament - Tay shot is Personal Best and scored a 38!! He came in 2nd in his age group (38 kids 13U) and it was a super fun and competitive round with 5 great golfers!! He hit an AMAZING 2nd shot on the 9th hole and had a chance for an Eagle (he missed but hit the Birdy putt). It was a BLAST and can't wait for summer season to start!

Avery Takes on DC

Avery spent her first week of summer on a class trip to Washington DC with a couple hundred classmates. She roomed with her good friends Areen, Kiera and Maggie and had a blast. They took busses and she actually enjoyed the bus ride and got some sleep - They were on an all girls bus and anti-Trump so she was happy about that! She loved all the sites and particularly was moved by the Holocaust Museum and the Lincoln Memorial and DC Chapel. Another cool thing - It turned out Nate was performing dueling pianos for her class and we all had no idea. So it was a total surprise - Avery was PUMPED and the star of the show!! Super cool. It was a busy 4 days but she had an amazing time - Minus bus issues on the way back and getting home at 6 am instead of midnight. We missed her but were glad she ended her Westfield Middle School experience on a high note!
