Italian Fest

We were able to get to Italian Fest this weekend before heading out on our vacation. Our friends Jaime and Brooke invited us (Kenny was out of town). Avery and Brooke love seeing each other and had lots of fun. They were still a little too young for most of the games and activities but we found things to do. 

We started out having dinner and Avery and Brooke spent most of the time running around on the empty stage in the dining hall and hugging each other. Then we headed outside to explore all of the activities - Avery tried the duck pond and "won" a sucker. I realized she had never had one before and she was OBSESSED with it! Those will for sure be a future treat :) Then we did some dancing and tried the toddler bounce house - Brooke was very adventurous and bounced all around. But Avery was a bit intimidated and wouldn't even stand up. She had more fun watching the big kids go down the slide with Dad. And then we ended the night with Tiramisu and Ice Cream - She was one happy and tired girl!
