4th of July 2013

Avery had a great 4th of July - After starting the morning too early and needing an early nap she rallied in the afternoon and had a fun rest of the day. Avery and I went to West Park with Amy, Grammy, Kurt and Lucy. Lucy had to leave early since she got a tick (yuck!) but Avery had fun on the swings (she always has a stoic face but asks for more), driving the truck and splashing around the splash park for a bit.

We then headed back to our house and had a BBQ. Avery loved "playing" Bags (She kept saying "my turn" when people were actually trying to play). And we had feast made by Trinh and some great grilling of steaks by Hung. After cupcakes and ice cream we ended the night with fireworks - not the craziest ones you've ever seen but Avery enjoyed them (and also seemed a little scared).
