The 4th grade students are assigned a famous Hoosier to study and Avery was given Jane Pauley. She spent a ton of time researching her whole life and learning tons of interesting facts (like that Jane Pauley is Bi-Polar which was the fact she shared with the school) and discovering how she got to where she did in the newsworld. With help from G and Goodwill, Avery looked amazing (I got a lot of texts from teachers that they were blown away by her costume) and created a super detailed presentation which she got to share with all different kids around the school. I love this assignment and so did Avery!
