4th Grade Corydon Fieldtrip

I was lucky enough to be chose as a Chaperone for the big 4th Field Trip to Southern Indiana. On our first stop to Squire Boone Caverns, we explored the caves, gem mined, met some amazing resuce farm animals, learned about grissmills, and made some candles. We then headed to Corydon to see the original state house and governors mansion, check out an old battlefield and saw some really cool glass making. Our last stop was dinner at Huber's for AMAZING Fried Chicken. We got up at 5:30 am and made it home around 10 pm. It was a LONG day but also so much fun. I had a blast watching Avery with all of her sweet friends and giggling away on the bus while they played cards and explored all of our activities. I love these little moments with her as she continues to grow into the amazing person she is becoming. Hoping I get to take Tay in a few years :)

And a BIG Thank you to the BEST G who got Tay on and off the bus and gave him a fun night with dinner at Culver's (Hung was in Peoria helping his parents).
