Nate and Debbie Visit

Uncle Nate and Aunt Debbie came for a weekend visit. The purpose was to bring us Daisy who was going to move in with us when Grandma T and Grandpa move to their new condo (which has pet limits). Sadly, Daisy did not take well to our crazy house and it was a bit overwhelming for her. She now lives with my Grandma Lou and is doing MUCH better so it all worked out.

On the plus side, we got to spend time with Nate and Debbie. Avery and Debbie designed a cake and spent all day Saturday making their masterpiece. It looked amazing and was just as delicious to eat!! They brought their Nintendo Switch and Tay became obsessed with the Zelda game - He get caught up in this area that he named "Fishtown" and spent the whole weekend there. When I asked what he wanted for breakfast, the answer was "Fishtown".  It was all he could think about and was cracking us up as he just did the same moves over and over again for hours!!

We also went for a swim at the neighbors pool where Tay named himself king of Fishtown, played some games, Debbie whipped up some amazing soup dumplings, had some fun at the park, enjoyed S'mores around the firepit and laughed a lot. It was an awesome weekend!! We are excited to have more time with them at the cottage in a  few weeks.
