One of the main highlights of Quarantine was the creation of Avery's song "Bravery" and the accompanying video. Avery was feeling nervous, scared, sad, etc. when school was cancelled and Corona took over the world. She wrote some lyrics and recorded a voice memo and decided to send it to Nate and Debbie to see what they could do with it. They went ABOVE and BEYOND and turned it into something truly magical. Nate and Deb would send over short demo tracks for Avery's feedback (she loved everything they sent her). Then they worked with the whole family to add us into the last chorus - iPhones were used across NYC, Indy, Chicago and Grand Rapids. SO much time was spent to create the recording. Then Nate and Debbie took it one step further and created a video - Again coordinating across different states. It was so fun to record and see this come to fruition.
Once it went live, it got some local buzz which has been a blast. You can now search for Avery Trieu on any streaming service and can find her song. Avery was featured on Fox59 (including a live video), WISH (local CBS), and WTHR (local NBC). We also were asked to call in the Smiley Morning show and were on the radio where they played the song. Avery's school district sends a weekly email and Avery was featured which also got some attention. Neighbors and friends from all over reached out to tell Avery how cool it was. I was picking up prescriptions and the Pharmacist asked if I was Avery's mom and then told me how cute Avery was and how much she loved the song. It was such an awesome way to keep us all connected during COVID and something Avery will have forever!! I am SO thankful for Nate and Debbie and all the work they did to make this happen.
Tay got a little jealous of all the attention so he wrote his own song called "Snuggling With Bingo" - Nate and Debbie are working on this one next so stay tuned :)
