- Sunday night started early with Tay crashing on my lap while I was on the phone catching up with Jill Wrobel.
- Monday we took advantage of the awesome weather, had a picnic for lunch with G and had some fun with sidewalk chalk. Both kids made some mosaics - Tay said his was a boat and Avery added some inspirational quotes. She also lost her 2nd moral which was exciting!
- On Tuesday we had awesome weather again and met up with Uncle Cullen for a walk through a new nature park we just discovered. We walked for over an hour and the kids were troopers! Tay really liked looking for splits in the tree trunks and pointed every one out thinking a deer had made it. Afterwards, the kids got to put on their new suits which were supposed to be for Spring Break and played in the sprinklers in the back yard. YAY warm weather!!
- On Wednesday the kids threw an anniversary dinner for Hung and me. I had mentioned that Hung and I started dating 16 years ago and sweet Avery took it to heart and organized a romantic dinner for us complete with Grammy's China, the songs we loved when we first started dating (Burn, By My Side), and full service wait staff. They were SO sweet. We all danced together after dinner. We thought it was going to be a nice night so we tried out the Firepit for the first time this year and had S'mores. Lightening started to rumble so we quickly went inside and proceeded to see the biggest wind and hail storm we have witnessed living here and lost power for almost 12 hours. It was a little scary and we were lucky that no damage was done to our house or our cars. Not the best night but we made it!
- On Thursday we dyed Easter Eggs - The kids did an awesome job mixing up colors and adding stickers and designs. Tay went a little crazy with the stickers!
- Hung took Friday off and the kids watched the new Trolls movie, played lots of games, and played Family and Ninja.
- Saturday was a gorgeous day. Avery and I started the day with a job - She did awesome! We ran by her friend Kendall's house and got to say hi for a sec. She really pushed herself and I was super proud. She joined me again on Sunday and we went even further. I love having a quarantine running buddy!!
- On Saturday we also did a caravan parade past Avery's two teachers houses. It was really sweet and emotional - The kids were so excited to see their teachers and I think all the parents, Ms. Tebbe and Ms. Rictchie were all crying. It was a perfect way to spend the afternoon!! Saturday night we got to watch Bandstand while Nate and the cast live tweeted (and try out our new Popcorn machine - the kids are obsessed with the flavor toppings Hung bought).
- And some good Bingo snuggles!!
- Sunday was PACKED so I'll do a separate post of that one
