Happy Thanksgiving 2019!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday! Lai Ma, Uncle Du, G, Papa, Uncle Cullen, Aunt KJ, Marija + Bill and their girls, and Kathleen and her girls (+ Jolin) came over for dinner. It was a group effort with Appetizers by Trinh, Dinner by G and Dessert by Kathleen (plus some muffins made by Avery that she was super proud of). The food was amazing and the company was even better. Avery and Lila put on a show called "Indians versus Pilgrims - A Ballet" which featured Avery as the Pilgrim, Lila as the Indian, Taylor as the turkey they shot and ate and Lena as a bunny who was friends with Turkey. They literally shot Tay with a nerf bow and arrow and put him on a tray and fake ate him. We were all dying!

Some other highlights of the weekend included Frozen II with Uncle Du, Fashion Center Mall shopping, Smiley's and Penn Station Dinner with Hung, and Rollerskating with me. The kids had an awesome break!!

G and I went on Friday to visit Grammy. It was wonderful to see her and we also got to spend time with Uncle Mike and Robin. We were given last minute tickets to the Mich/OSU game so my mom and I went and had a blast despite the sad outcome for my boys in blue. Avery was so sweet on the day of the game - she wore her Mich gear, decorated the house for me in Michigan and even made a Michigan sandwich for lunch. She makes me melt!!

It was a busy weekend with lots of love and family. Happy Thanksgiving! And now onto the Christmas madness :)

 G is amazing at setting up a good looking table! Avery added her Hummels that Grammy gave to her as b-day gifts over the years so that she was still a part of our dinner. We missed having her with us this year!!

 Tay ate Chow Mein noodles, an egg roll and one bite of carrot that he said was too big - not very into Thanksgiving food. haha.
