Festive Holiday Weekend

We had such a great weekend leading up to Christmas. It started with surprising Avery with tickets for Hamilton (HUGE thanks to Debbie for getting us AMAZING seats). Avery was so sweet working on understanding the plot on our drive there - and she loved the show!! We walked out right as the cast was starting to and she got autographs and pictures with lots of actors including Burr and all the Schuyler Sisters (her favorite!).

We also completed our holiday baking!! We made Grandma's dough on Friday afternoon (along with Cornflake Christmas Wreaths), rolled the dough and created the cutouts on Saturday and had friends over on Sunday to help us frost and decorate. Tay was really into icing this year and kept making special ones for me because "I am so nice". Avery also made me lots of UofM yellow and blue themed cookies which was so sweet.

We ended the weekend at the new Merry on the Prairie exhibit at Conner Prairie. The snow started falling and it was just gorgeous with all the lights. It was hard to take pics but the kids loved the merry go round, tube slide, games, prairie town houses and wagon ride through all the lights. Good times with great neighbors!!
