Taylor's 11 Month Update

• Tay is still crawling and cruising away. He is also really good at standing on his own and climbing stairs (and learning how to climb down stair correctly) and is SO close to taking a step (UPDATE: He took 3 steps a few days after turning 11 months). And his crawling has gotten FAST - He can get across a room in no time.
• I think the highlight of the past month is his busy-ness. He is always on the move and heading for something. He basically never sits still or sits in your lap unless he is eating or being rocked to sleep. It can get exhausting just following him around. If you try to hold him he screams and squirms and makes it known he does not want to be held and needs to explore. 
• He is still a good eater - there are meals where he is just way too busy and has zero interest. And also times we have to let him cruise around and follow him and just put the food in his mouth or let him take it from your hand. If he is sitting in his highchair he really wants to just feed himself and gets mad and annoyed when you try to help him.
• He has 8 teeth - 4 top and 4 bottom.
• Tay had his first fever this past month - It got up to 104 and then broke. It was the only time he just wanted to be held and cuddled. He just was so sad and lethargic. It was less than 24 hours and then the fever broke and he was back to his busy self!
• He gives big smiles and loves to flirt with strangers at restaurants or out and about. Just gives the cutest, big smiles and you can't help but melt.
• He is great at waving bye-bye. Other "tricks" like "all done" and "more" and "So big" and giving kisses are hit or miss.
• He is still wearing 9-12 month clothing for the most part. But moving towards 12 month and in to 18 months.
• Still nursing well.
• Sleep is the same as last month...Takes his 2 naps. Goes to bed around 8-9 and is up around 7-7:30. Every once in a while he sleeps all night and is usually up once.
• Lots of jabbering and babbling. Getting some "mama" sounds that I keep working on :)
• We tell him "No Thank You" ALL the time as he is always going for things he shouldn't - you can tell he gets what it means and it usually stops him but he'll keep staring at what he wants.
• He will sometimes cling to me but is good at going to others, especially if they just take him and walk around and show him the world. 
• He is just a sweet and funny boy - makes us laugh and melt at the same time.
• And how is my little baby going to be ONE next month??
