On Monday we spent the day at the Children's Museum with the Lawences. And finished with dinner and S'mores at Hop Lot. Avery and Matilda had lots of fun together!!
On Tuesday, we went to the Halsey's and spent the afternoon on their boat. Avery and Tay both took turns driving and Avery loved playing with all the trinkets in Carol's toy cabinet. She especially loved the fake gun and knife - for sure favorites of mine. LOL!
I had to work Wednesday through Friday, and the kids were lucky to have G taking care of them all day. I was able to hang out in the evenings. On Wednesday we had dinner at Sally's with Amelia and her boys, the Halseys and the Tobins. Avery loved playing with Sasha Dolls and exploring the beach. On Thursday, G and Papa took care of Tay while Avery and I went to a Beach Bums game and went to the original Moomer's with Lisa, Kirk, and Clara. And we had a relaxing weekend enjoying shopping, beach time, and eating (of course). We made it home Sunday night exhausted but also so happy to have had such an amazing vacation. Til next summer.....
