2012 Holiday Party With Our Playgroup

We celebrated the Holidays with our Playgroup on Sunday and had such a fun time. We hosted the party at University. All but one family was able to attend and the kids had a great time playing with each other's toys and exploring the school. Santa also came for a visit - most of the kids were either uninterested or scared of him. I was amazed that Avery was so calm around him and wasn't afraid to approach him and check things out. 

We had a delicious pitch in Italian dinner - lots of yummy pasta dishes and desserts! The mom's did a secret santa gift exchange which was really fun and we also had the kids do a craft. We painted their hands and they put their "handprint" on an ornament with their name and year on it. Avery's looks like a red blob :)

Avery was a little tired at first but quickly got into the spirit of things and was an excellent and busy host. Never stopped moving (except, of course, to eat!) or playing and was giving lots of kisses to her boyfriend Ian.

It was a great night and we are so lucky to have met such a wonderful group of mamma's and babies! Merry Christmas!
