Holiday Cruising - Part 1

G and Papa surprised the kids with a Pre-Christmas Cruise as their gift. It was SO generous and thoughtful and we had been looking forward to it ALL Fall! Sadly, G and Papa had to cancel their reservation after Papa's fall but Rebecce and Ella saved the day by finding one of the last rooms on the ship and joining me and the kids. While we missed G and Papa the whole time, we made the best of it and ended up having a blast.

The kids finished school on Friday and Hung drove us to the airport. They were easy travelers and we checked into our hotel in Tampa and all put on our matching Care Bear PJ's! We boarded the ship on Saturday - It was a rainy day but we powered through and got ourselves checked in. We started with luch and one of MANY ice creams. Tay had a goal of 5 a day and achieved it more that once. We explored the ship, had a great dinner and went to the opening night show (Bec and I LOVED the shows).

Our first full day was at Sea - It was a little windy so we weren't able to mini-golf but we got some pool time, made Build-A-Bears for each other, played Bingo (which we NEVER won) and Trivia, went to afternoon high tea, had a great dinner and went to the Rock N Roll show. The girls ended every night with late night hot-tubbing! Tay was very into catching up on his fantast football.

Our 3rd day we went to Roatan off of Hondorus. We ziplined through the forest - It was Tay's first time and he LOVED it! We all really enjoyed it and had super friendly guides. The zipline ended at the ocean where we laid out, played in the water and had lunch. After some shopping we made it back on the boat and checked out the water slides - I even tried them out! That night we again had a great dinner and went to Deal or No Deal (we didn't win but it was fun!) and Tay and I fit in a little putt-putt. We also participated in the Matching Pajama contest and came in a respectable 3rd place.
