We had a fun holiday weekend which included Cookies with Santa at Westfield High School. It was such a cute event with Llamas, bounce house, Santa, cookie decorating and crafts galore. They had one game where you pulled dum-dum's out of a Styrofoam cone - If there was a color on the bottom of the stick you got a little prize. Tay was obsessed and played this about 10 times - We came home with my purse stuffed full of dum-dum's. It was too funny. Avery and Elle were into the crafts and had fun! We had lunch at Portillo's afterwards and it was a great start to Saturday. That evening, Hung and I want to Stu's b-day party and the kids got a night with Ackey. She brought over Gingerbread Beach Houses and they had a blast. We got home by 8 but Ashley stayed til past 10 so we could catch up!!
On Sunday, Hung and Du took the kids to an indoor golf simulator place and they have fun! I got to get all my cookie and chex mix ingredients bought in preparation for next weekend. That night we went to Merry on the Prairie with the Balouns. Kids loved the tube slide and the naughty/nice elf. It was not too cold and a perfect evening to be outside and enjoy the Christmas lights. On to the last week of school!!
This cookie said "mom" with a heart that he made for me :)
