Santa Breakfast at Conner Prairie

Hung, G and I took the kids to the Santa Breakfast at Conner Prairie. It was such a cute event - We had a nice breakfast and then got to meet Santa and decorate a Christmas Cookie. Avery was going to pinch Santa's belly to see if he was the REAL Santa or if he had stuffing in there. She ended up not doing that but did ask him how Mrs. Clause was and then asked for a Bow and Arrow, Surprise Surprise Puppy Surprise and a Chocolate Pen. After breakfast we went to a children's interactive theater show. Avery LOVED it - She got up and told a knock knock joke that went like this "Knock Knock" "Who's There?" "Lettuce in it's cold outside". She is still working on her delivery. But she just had a blast being on stage and took part in all the acting improv and singing activities. She gave both instructors a hug at the end and then we had to go back for the 1:30 performance with Lila. We spent over 5 hours there and Avery and Lila could have stayed longer if we let them but both had meltdowns on the way out and Avery crashed in about 5 min after we got in the car. We will for sure go back next year!!
