Zoo Boo 2014

We all had so much fun at Zoo Boo on Sunday. We went with Lila and Alicia's family and the three girls had a blast. We trick-or-treated through the planes and saw all the animals (Avery would get so excited when there was another trick-or-treat station and wanted to open every type of candy right then!), went on the backwards merry-go-round and then went on the Spooky Train Ride. The cable cars over the new orangutan exhibit had a mishap and lots of emergency vehicles came through to get the people out that were stuck - so our train ride lasted about 45 minutes as the zoo was in emergency mode but the girls were great and amused themselves - non stop giggles!!

After the long train ride, we checked out the bird exhibit and then headed out to dinner downtown. Our food took forever to arrive but the adults had fun talking and the girls colored, played with stickers, watched Peppa Pig and just laughed and were silly (they were very into making silly faces, sad faces, mad faces, etc.). Such a fun night with Avery's school friends - We were all exhausted by the end but can't wait to get together again soon.
