Avery's First Fieldtrip

Avery's class took a trip to Stoneycreek Farm this week. I was able to chaperone and we both had fun. We started by going on a hay ride and each kid got to pick a pumpkin. Avery and her friends found green ones and thought they were so cool! 

After the pumpkin picking, the kids got to explore the farm. We did a haunted house, saw the rabbits, goats, chickens, and mules, played in the hay pile, hay maze and playground and also did the caterpillar crawler - basically a giant inflatable caterpillar that the kids crawled through. Poor Avery got stuck on the climbing wall inside it and I was happy to have Bill there to crawl in and rescue her :). By the end Avery was getting tired and hungry and wasn't much up for the big class pictures at the end. You can tell by her face below she was done!
