Avery's First Dentist Appointment

Avery had her first trip to the dentist today and she did great! Overall, her teeth looked really good. She fell asleep last night without a Paci and was very proud to tell the dentist this (she got to get two prizes instead of one for falling asleep on her own). Although when asked if she was ready to give all her Paci's away she gave a firm "no!" so this may have been a fluke!

We got some helpful tips on how to brush and floss better. And Avery really liked the cleaning and "tickling" of her gums with the polisher. Her x-rays looked great and all her adult teeth are there and ready to come in someday. The place we went to was so wonderful with kids and explained everything to Avery and made her comfortable. Going back for her next cleaning should not be a problem!!
