We were so lucky to have Grandpa, Grandma T, Aunt Maddie AND Uncle Nate come to visit this week. We realized that we have not ALL been together in over a year and a half. Avery told me she was going to be a "little bit shy" of Uncle Nate but that totally did not happen. She jumped right in and played hard with everyone for two days. Last night, we were all sitting around playing "Words With Friends" on our phones and Avery wanted to join in - She played "Uncolor" on my phone and loved snuggling in with everyone. Hung asked her how she was and she said "I am great - just relaxing."
On Tuesday the weather was nice, so they were able to go to the park while Hung and I worked. And today it was pretty rainy so they headed to Recreation Unlimited and played on all the indoor playsets. There was lots of imagination and pretend going on - She just had a blast and we loved having everyone here.
When they were packing up to leave this evening Avery said "But don't go. I love you." She did not make it easy for everyone to take off. The visit went by too fast and I wish we had more time but am so grateful for these few days for us all to be together.
