Lazy Labor Day Weekend

We had a laid back Labor Day Girls Weekend. Hung was in Chicago and went to the Iowa Game at Soldier Field and golfed with Uncle Du so my mom came and stayed with Avery and me. On Friday, Avery and I went to a play date with my Mom's Group and it was fun to spend time with all the moms and babies that we hadn't seen in a while. 

It was a rainy and dreary weekend so we spent a lot of time reading books and playing with some of the new toys that Avery got for her birthday - her new Dr. Kit is one of her current favorites! We suffered through the awful Michigan football game on Saturday night but had fun putting on our Michigan gear. GG came over for dinner and Avery loved playing with her Michigan beads. On Monday, we went swimming at GG's and Avery had fun splashing around with Grams and Uncle Cullen.

We had so much fun with my mom this weekend - we got everything ready for Avery's birthday party next weekend and played and laughed a lot. Avery was not the best sleeper this weekend and I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't had my mom here to help me. We are very lucky and grateful to have her!!

Hung made it home in time for dinner tonight and Avery was very excited to see him - lots of squeals and dadada's. It was a great girls weekend and we are happy to have Daddy home!
