The Polar Express was bittersweet this year - We missed Papa and felt his spirit and love for French Lick and West Baden. Alicia, her mom Nancy and Parker joined us along with Tay's buddy Robin. And Benny Boo and KJ also made the trip for their 2nd year (next year Cullen can join us!!).
We only spent one night there but packed in a LOT. We started with lunch at Grey Brothers, shopped and did most of the Scavenger Hunt (the girls "guessed" on the ones we didn't get to and still got the awesome prize of a plastic cup with candy), the boys hit the arcade, we decorated cookies, and had dinner at a Mexican restaurant before our Polar Express train ride. On Sunday we had brunch, made Christmas stuffed animals with Santa and headed home.
We had a great time with friends and family - It was really fun seeing Benny Boo get in on the action and the kids love showing the magic of Christmas.
