The kids were off school the week before Christmas this year so we had a nice cozy week and got all the treats ready for when family arrives! We made Grandma's Cookies which took 3 days (make dough + chill, roll dough and bake, frost), Grandma's Chex Mix, and G's favorite Cornflake Wreaths. We had some friends join us (Ackey, Areen, and Robin) and G helped us, too! It always warms my heart to make the things I grew up enjoying every holiday season and love all the memories that come back with making and enjoying the treats. I hope Avery and Tay carry on the traditions with their kids! We also spent at night at the Donnelson's celebrating the 4th night of Hanukkah. Now we are ready for family to pile in!!
