We made it to Leland!! The first week, I had to work but the kids had lots of fun with G, Alicia and Parker :)
Our first night we got settled in, walked around town, had dinner at the Cove and then played some Kubb in the backyard (a new Tay favorite!).
I had to work the rest of this week but kids had a great time at Camp G. Wednesday was a trip to Cherry Festival - games, rides and treats galore! We made pasta, salad and garlic bread for dinner and ended the night with ice cream and Kubb! Thursday we had a beach day and then welcomed Lily and Elaine with dinner at Riverside and lots of girl giggles and snuggles!
Friday we toured the whole peninsula starting with the Northport lighthouse, cheese shanty picnic lunch, shopping and beach. Then on to Sutton’s Bay for more shopping and seeing Linde! We ended the day with dinner at Bluebird, Kubb, and ice cream.
Saturday we started with the Leland Art Fair and saw Linde and her kids. Then we all had lunch at the Lodge. Avery needed some quiet time so Tay, G and I went to Sutton's Bad and had beach time with Elisabeth and Sosha. And then we all headed to the Lawrence's for a BBQ. Alicia and I then took the girls to see Boyz 2 Men and it was AMAZING! Avery and Parker were great sports at indulging out 90's nostalgia and danced the night away with us. It was SO fun!! We even made an appearance on the Jumbotron!
Sunday we did some cherry picking, beach time at Sutton’s Bay, dinner at the Cove and ice cream. We got to see lots of Linde and her crew and Cullen and KJ also arrived!a great way to end the first week!
