It was the last day of school for Avery (Tay technically has one more day tomorrow...). She came off the bus ALL tears as she was so sad to leave Ms. Biddle's classroom for the last time. While I hate to see her sad, I also am so happy that she loved her school year SO much and has such a tender heart. We cheered her up with a neighborhood water balloon fight and then hosted an ice cream party for ALL the neighbor kids which was a lot of people. The weather was rough - 60 and rainy but that didn't hinder the kids from having a fun end of year celebration. Both kids were soaked and had a blast with their buddies. We ended the night having pizza with the Donnelson's. It's bittersweet to have a 4th grader and Kindergartner but am so proud of these two kids and the amazing people they are becoming.
