We had originally planned to go to Cedar Point for Labor Day weekend to with the Bolton's to celebrate the summer B-days. Given COVID, we are delaying that until next year. But we did decide to have a family party + Morrison/Popovich crew to celebrate turning 5 and 9. It was so fun to all be together - The guys got a round of golf in Saturday morning and we got ready for the party. Lai Ma made an amazing meal for everyone plus we had pizza and two AMAZING cakes. The local DQ Diana cake decorator nailed Avery riding Harley on her ice cream cake and Tay asked for a Math Theme cake where every equation equaled 5. They were gorgeous and delicious!! The kids had a blast playing with Lila and Lena. Avery and Lila opened a dance club called "The Next Level" and put on a show and Lena and Tay are two peas in a pod who are determined to get married one day. Tay openly calls her his girlfriend - they crack us up! Tay also got a new bike from Uncle Du which he is loving! And we had 2 pinatas - Tay picked out a My Little Pony one and Eddie randomly brought one from his mom with his face on it. The kids enjoyed giving them both some whacks. It was an awesome celebration and great to have family all together and feel normal for a bit.
