Leland 2019 - Part 2

For the last 2 weeks of Leland, I had to work but G took care of the kids so we could extend vacation time! Avery went to Shady Trails Day Camp in Northport with her friend Reese for one of the weeks and had a lot of fun - She did lots of swimming, arts & crafts, and got to try some new activities like archery. Taylor and G got to have a special 1:1 week - they spent lots of time walking around fishtown, going to the beach, library and just relaxing cottage time. We met our friends Reese and Peter for ice cream one night and walked the docs and had some lovely dinners at home made by Chuckee. It made my return to work A LOT easier to take!

Tay at the library - he had to take out ALL the puppets and also found a giant atlas and exclaimed "These are MY continents" - The boy loves his world map!

Week 2 of Camp G was also a success. There was lots of time hanging around the cottage and playing pretend. They also went to Pirate Day at the bookstore which they both really enjoyed. Glen Arbor and Smocks was another destination - Avery won the Grand Prize at the Where's Waldo Drawing which was exciting. And both kids loved Smocks :) Wednesday night and all day Thursday Kathleen, Anna and Hayley joined us. For our final night we all had dinner at Martha's :)
