Last weekend, the kids and I went to Chicago for John Wrobel's Birthday party. Before we left town, Cullen invited us to the PAC where there was a major high school recruiting event and we got to meet John Beilein - He was in the middle of scouting and took the time for a pic. I was a bumbling idiot and he could not have been sweeter to me and the kiddos. They were awesome travel companions - We stopped at a park before the party and then headed to Jill's. There were tons of kids to play with and they had a blast - Basketball and Hotwheels outdoors, pinatas, endless toys, and tons of good food. I loved catching up with Jill and her sweet family and friends. That night we also get to spent some time with Aunt Maddie and Eddie.
Sunday, Hung, G, Jaime and I took Avery to see Wicked. She said "I didn't like it..I LOVED IT." It was a fun show!!
The $35 monkey souvenir from G.....LOL
This weekend was another busy one. Hung went all in on landscaping this year and did an awesome job getting the front yard looking amazing - He is VERY sore and tired but it looks great!! Marija and Bill were moving this weekend so we had Lila and Lena all day Saturday and into Sunday afternoon. I was alone with the 4 kids but they were actually super well behaved - We spent 5 hours at Conner Prairie pretty much hitting every area inside and out. After some play time at home we had dinner and went out for ice cream. It was a giant sleepover in the master bedroom with kids sprawled on the bed and floor - They slept til 7 which wasn't bad and then had breakfast and played some more. Hung and I are beat but the house looks great, it was nice to help out friends and Avery and Tay had lots of fun :)
