3 Year Update (36 Months)

Here are some cute and fun things from Month 36 (3 YEARS OLD - WOW!)
  • Avery has an awesome meltdown this month. She had refused to nap and then Hung was playing with her around 4 and she lost it. She had come back from the pool and would not put clothes on so was totally naked this whole time. She told Hung to sell EVERYTHING. She said "Sell my bed, sell my clothes, sell my chair, sell my lamp, sell my blankets, sell EVERYTHING. I want NOFTING! All I want is Pacis, Shows and Snacks! SELL EVERYTHING". Then she crawled behind her rocker and fell asleep buck naked for over 2 hours.
  • We were playing school and she was the teacher. She was telling Hung and me what our work for the day was and then suddenly stopped and said "My work is I have to go poop."
  • She has had a recent fascination with Hannah and Ella (my friend Rebecca's girls). She keeps telling us she is Hannah and I am Ella and Hung is "George"/Jordan. And whatever dog happens to around is Barney. Every time we would see someone new she would whisper to me "Tell them I am Hannah." And she'll say to me: "Pretend you are Ella and you are small. Now talk like Ella." They are coming to visit in October and am sure Avery will have a blast playing with her idols :)
  • Sometimes she'll say "You see what I mean?" or "You see what I am saying?".
  • She tells toddler jokes (that are totally not funny) and then goes "KIDDING". Avery loves to play tricks. Like she'll have G babysit and then I'll come home and my mom will say "Avery refused to take her bath or put on her jammies". And then Avery jumps out and says "KIDDING! TRIIIICK!"
  • Avery kept talking about her friend Sylvia from school. We did not think there was a Sylvia (which Avery pronounces "Syldia"). And then it turned out there was so she keeps asking us "Now do you believe me about Syldia."
  • If she does something wrong she'll always ask us "Do you forgive me?". And if she spills something or drops something on accident she'll ask "Are you mad at me?" and then look at us and say "That doesn't look like a mad face." (I always say "Does this look like a mad face" and smile when she is worried I am mad about something that I am not mad about)
  • Avery will tell us "You can't call people fat. Instead, call them beautiful". And when you ask her what makes someone beautiful she says "Being kind". She is also accepting the fact that boys can be beautiful, too.
  • She is in size 10 shoes and size 4/5 clothing (moving more into the 5/girls department)
