Tent Time

Avery just can't get enough of the tent Hung got her for Christmas. She loves to take both of our hands, lead us into the tent, we then fake nap, and then she takes our hands again and kicks us out. And then we repeat. If we don't get out when she wants us to it really makes her mad.

She has started bringing in blankets for "nap time" and sometimes likes to cover our heads with them. The blankets have really become their own ritual - she repeatedly folds and unfolds them and meticulously places them on us. After she gets them placed "correctly" she pats them down to make sure they don't move. Many times she makes us lay on our stomachs so she can put the blankets on our backs. And she also has a pillow she brings in but usually only Avery is allowed to use it and she cries and panics if Hung or I use the pillow. Every once in a while we get to use the pillow if she doesn't need it. We spend quite a bit of time each night playing the tent game. Sometimes the tunnel is also part of the game and we take turns climbing through it and hiding in it. We are all enjoying this new game!! I need to try and get it on video.
