A Baby Shower Weekend in Detroit: Time with the Bolton's and Hutson's

We headed to Detroit for the weekend for Linde's Baby Shower and had such a great time! As an added bonus, Avery did amazingly well in the car both to and from Detroit. Hung got to fit in two rounds of golf with the boys on Saturday and Sunday morning. I loved spending time with two of my oldest and best friends, Rebecca and Linde - We had lots of laughs reminiscing about high school and college days and chatting about our babies (and Linde's baby-to-be). And Avery had fun playing with Ella and all of Ella's toys (the girls seemed to be on opposite sleep and nap schedules but we found some time for them to play together). Avery loved pushing Ella in the wagon (and loved being in the wagon herself), Ella loved following Avery around the house and they both loved cruising from toy to toy and playing with the musical blocks. 

Rebecca helped throw an amazing shower for Linde and I can't wait to see if it's a Boy or Girl when Baby Hutson arrives in October. Many thanks to Rebecca and Linde for being such great hosts. We hope to see everyone again soon!

In other news - Avery is getting SO close to walking. Since Friday, she has taken a couple steps here and there and I think we will soon see her just take off...
