Meeting The Twins

We were so excited to have my Aunt's Jody and Jenny visit this weekend!! Avery was in a great mood and gave them lots of good smiles and play time. They brought Avery a fun new jungle animal toy which she is enjoying and also a super cute dress for summer time. We spent the day watching the Big Ten Basketball tournament (which did NOT go Michigan's way) but Avery was able to distract us and keep us in a good mood. We were able to enjoy the weather and took Avery for a walk around the neighborhood - About halfway through the walk she decided she no longer liked her stroller so we took turns carrying her home - Those 18lbs can get tiring on the arms! My mom babysat at night so that the four of us could go out for a nice dinner and we had a blast. It meant so much to us that they made the long drive from Michigan and we loved spending time with them and introducing them to Miss Avery J.

On Sunday we took a trip to Costco and Avery is finally big enough to sit in the shopping cart. She liked it for a while and then decided she was tired and wanted to be held (seemed to be a theme this weekend).
