The Germans Came!

Avery finally got to meet her German cousins this weekend. Miriam, John, Rahel, Ava, Clara and Lars E. Boy all came to visit from Chicago. We were so excited to introduce them to Avery! All the girls were amazing with Avery and had a lot of fun holding her, playing with her and reading her books.

They arrived Friday night and we had an amazing dinner made by Chuck. On Saturday, we were able to enjoy the good weather and play at the park. We also got to watch Michigan beat Illinois - much to Miriam's dismay who was chanting "Go Champagne-Urbana!". We went for a yummy dinner at La Marg on Saturday night - Avery behaved amazingly and slept through dinner so we could all sit down and enjoy the meal together. We finished the weekend with a great breakfast made by John on Sunday morning. We loved having them here, seeing the beautiful girls and getting German baby tips from Miriam.

We can't wait to see them again!!
