After our cruise, we only had a couple days to get ready for X-mas so we dove right in! The night we gotb back from the cruise we made our cookie dough for Grandma's cookies and Chex Mix!
The next day we got the cookies baked and made the Cornflake Wreaths. And finally we got to cookie decorating :)
We had a wonderful Christmas holiday with ALL of the family! Everyone piled in on the 23rd and then headed to Cullen and KJ's for Christmas Eve dinner. Christmas Day we had a magical morning with SO many generous gifts all around, a huge breakfast and lots of napping. Teri made a fantastic Christmas dinner to end the festivities. One of the highlights was playing Charades after dinner on Christmas - just tons of laughs. It was wonderful being together and the time always goes too fast but so grateful for our family!
Day 4 we explored Cozumel - We started by swimming with the dolphins. They were SO cute and gentle and we all loved it! Then we had lunch and explored the botanical gardens and then did some shopping around the port. Once we got back on the boat, Tay and I had some putt putt and shuffleboard time, we all had another great dinner (including a magician stopping by our table who was able to always guess the number we rolled on a dice), and then went to the 80's Pop show which Rebecca and I were obsessed with!
Our 5th day on the cruise was a little windy and overcast so it was a relaxing day including laying out for Avery, chill time in the room for Tay, more Bingo, High Tea, a great last dinner and a final late night hot tub.
We headed home on the 6th day and the kids were AMAZING travelers even though we were all exhausted. Hung picked us up from the airport and we were all so excited to see him. Tay even crued when Hung pulled up since he missed his Dad SO much - It was very sweet! We had a wonderful vacation with tons of inside jokes (BONG, Cruise Group Leader Carmen), laughs and great memories. We are happy to be home and ready for Christmas!
