Zoo Fun

For the first day of Spring Break, Ash took the kids to the zoo. They got to go Behind The Scenes with her sister Mandy and feed the Sea Lion. So FUN!

Tay spilled an entire lemonade on himself and came home as a bear :)

Taylor 31 Month Update

Funny and cute things from Month 31:

• Tay has this random thing where he says "CoCo" in this silly voice. We have no idea what it means or where it came from. Ash said one day he was saying it to Avery and it made her laugh so we think he's just trying to be funny. It's now his current catch phrase.
• If you are trying to put him to bed he shush's you and says "go night-night". And we are like "No Tay, YOU go night night!"
• He is still obsessed with his Koopa's
• When he says "Love you" it sounds like "Lush you" and Love you too sounds like "Lush Too".
• He is just talking so darn much - When people haven't seen him in a while they can't believe his full sentences and how much better he can communicate
• Tay is really liking Pete the Cat books and will do this cute little wiggle dance when we read them to him. He'll sing "I love my shooooes. I love my shoooes". He also loves the Pete the Cat book about the "New Guy" and will tell you that he can't climb tears because he doesn't have "CLAWS" which he'll say with tons of enthusiasm and show you claws with his hands.
• He LOVES to help Hung whenever he is doing projects. "I need to help my Dada" and gets all of his Koopa's. And will say "I help that guy" if we have any sort of repairman over and will bring his koopa's.
• He has started calling G "G Ba" for "G Bomb". LOL. G hates it and we think it's hysterical.
• One morning Avery was a little cranky and having a meltdown and Tay goes "Why sissy crying like a baby?"
• He LOVED this Leprechaun hunt that Ash took him to at the Westfield Library for St. Patrick's Day. He came home and could not stop talking about it - He told us "Leprechaun Messy", "Leprechaun Stinky", "He has GEEN pee" and he gave Tay "GOOOOOLD". He was just so excited and sweet and told the story over and over.
• Everything is "No I do it" "No I got it" - It always takes longer and wants to do it all himself! Some days he really wants to undress or dress himself and pants will end up backwards or it just takes forever and he gets super frustrated. 
• He sometimes will say "I HATE go night-night" and really fight it. It was luckily a short phase and seems over it and back to normal bedtime routine!
• Tay continues to adore Avery - He'll say "I miss Sissy" when she gets on the bus and can't wait to see her when he gets up from nap. 
• We noticed that tons of his words end with "key" - "Okey" is "Open", "Horsey" is "Horkey", Ashley is "Ackey", etc. etc.
• Tay is loving brushing his teeth since going to the dentist - He likes to get his stool and turn on the water and do everything by himself. 
• Sometimes he'll go "hmmmmm" and tap his index finger to his chin and then will say "I got it!" and give you his idea. Or he'll go "I know!". At the library he was on a computer with another boy and there was no sound. He goes "I can't hear. Why no sound. Hmmmmm -  I know! That boy broke it". And then went back to playing with his toy. 
• Tay will say "Cooool dada" or "Cooool mama" when he likes something you tell him. 
• He thinks farting is HYSTERICAL - If he does or anyone around him does he is in a fit of giggles
• He likes to say "Na Na Boo Boo" and smile and tease.
• Sometimes Tay will tell us "Deep Breath" and breath deeply to show us.
• He also has this weird thing where he hates to take his coat off when we go places and we'll say "Tay, do you want to take your coat off?" and he'll reply "No - I cold." Which he totally isn't so we don't know why he says this.
• Whenever we take Avery to Smaller Baller he'll run to Cullen and say "Unc Guy - you teach me??". 

Weekend with the Hopkins Crew

Grandpa ("Grampy"), Grandma T (Gra T), Aunt Maddie (Maui) and Uncle Nate (Huh Nate) came to visit for the weekend. There also happened to be a giant snow storm so we hunkered down in the house and had fun hanging out. The weekend consisted of:

• Lots of eating :)
• Playing games (Charades and Apples to Apples)
• Mich Basketball (FINAL FOUR!)
• Building Snowmen
• Easter Egg Hunts
• Face Swapping on SnapChat
• Lots of Laughs and not enough sleep

It was wonderful to all be together and we miss everyone tons already!!

Magic Easter Beans

The Easter Bunny magically delivered magic jelly beans to our house one afternoon. The kids planted them and watered them for about a week when they finally sprouted. Both kids were in heaven!

They Sprouted and Tay went on Sugar Overload after a giant sucker :)
