Avery's 3rd Birthday - The Actual Day

We started off Avery's Birthday with donuts and chocolate milk at Starbucks before school. Then, Hung and got to go to Avery's class and celebrate her birthday with her. It was so thoughtful and cute. They asked us to bring in pictures of Avery at birth, 1 year, 2 year and 3 years. Then they set up a sun and gave Avery a globe. They would show a picture, then the kids would sing a song and Avery would walk around the sun with the globe to show that a year had passed and then they would show the next picture and show Avery a year older. She would get to say something about each picture and they sent home her "timeline". It was so cool and one of the many reasons I love MSW!

Avery passed out a popcorn snack to the class and got to pick the morning book. It was so wonderful and then she got sad that we were leaving and fell apart :( But Ms. Sumski e-mailed me and said they took her for a walk to visit her teacher from last year Ms. Sandy, gave her lots of hugs and she was OK a little bit later. That night we opened we had cupcakes and opened gifts.

One of the coolest parts of her birthday was an AMAZING Princess Video that Aunt Maddie sent to her from Disney. One of the best gifts ever given to a niece from an Aunt!

So in love and proud of my sweet 3 year old. Hoping for another great year!

Princess Video - I still can't get over this!! When Avery watched it took her a second to realize what was going on. Then she was totally into it and now thinks that Elsa will have chocolate cake for her when we get to Disney in October :)

Avery's 3rd Birthday Party

We had quite the birthday bash for Avery this year. Avery chose a My Little Pony Theme so we went with that and made it a Rainbow Dash My Little Pony Party. We had tons of My Little Pony and Rainbow decorations. G made Avery an INCREDIBLE Candy Bar - The kids all LOVED it! There was tons of food including Veggies, Fruit, Pizza, and Lima (Not sure how to spell it but this is what Avery calls Hung's mom :)) made delicious Egg Rolls and Fried Rice. We also had rainbow treats on the tables and cake and ice cream. So no one went home hungry!

The kids enjoyed the slide and bounce house as well as running around the gym. And we had two craft tables - all the girls really loved making their own necklaces.

We loved having so many of our Indy friends there. And Avery also wanted to invite some school friends this year so it was fun to have some MSW folks in the mix.

We could not have pulled it off without the help of our parents, Uncle Du, Uncle Cullen and KJ. It was a team effort and I loved every minute of it.

Happy Birthday Miss Avery J! You are very loved!
