A big storm with blizzard like conditions creeped up right before Christmas so everyone came in a day early on 22nd so that we could all get here safely! Nate pulled an all night after a gig in NYC to get here before the worst of the storm. Luckily, everyone made it, we ordered pizza and had a relaxing night just settling in!
On the 23rd, we had a pretty lazy day as the temps were negative and winds were high. We watched Mean Girls and played lots of cards. Dinner was Chicken Pot Pie - Uncle Du and Uncle Cullen braved the cold to join us!
The 24th we made it out of the house and had an awesome Trail Mix and Hot Cocoa bar at Cullen and KJ's new house. Jon and Taylor's families and cute babies also joined us which was so fun. That night we went to G and Papa's for heavy apps - The deviled eggs were the fave dish! And then we went home to get ready for Santa! Tay was very sweet putting out food for the reindeer.
Christmas Day was filled with presents, love, laughter and MORE FOOD! Avery got lots of clothes and beauty products and Tay got some cool games and STEM toys to explore. Hung and I also changed everyone's lives and got them bidets :) It was a cozy, perfect day with lots of naps and snuggles.
Everyone except Uncle Nate took off on the 26th. We were sad to see it come to an end but so grateful for all the time together and making Christmas so full of love and magic for Avery and Tay.
