We started week two with a trip to Glen Arbor - we sampled at Cherry Republic, played some connect 4, shopped for tchotchkes, and had lunch at Art’s with Linde’s crew. We then braved a tubing trip on a fairly windy day - luckily it calmed down and warmed up and everyone enjoyed it. We finished the day with dinner at Hop Lot and ice cream at scoops. I am getting WAY fewer pictures without Rebecca here :(
Tuesday was a perfect "Up North" day - We headed to Traverse City and had lunch at Don's Diner then went to Pirates Cove for all the Go-Karts, Bumper Boats and Mini Golf. Tay had a blast with Luke and Cooper all day and the "big" girls became faves of Ms. Frankie. We then had dinner and ice-cream (OF COURSE) in Sutton's Bay before settling in for the night!
Wednesday was our last day with the Hutson’s. We went to the dunes - some of us made it all the way to the top and could see Lake Michigan and some preferred to play in the sand by the base. Cullen brought frisbee and football and the boys had a blast. After, we came back to the cottage and played Kubb, visited and had Bay Burrito for dinner. Followed by…..you guessed it..ice cream! The 3 boys played amazingly together and had so much fun and Frankie fell in love with Parker and Avery and vice versa. It was such a lovely week together!
Our last day with Alicia and Parker was just wonderful. We started with lunch at 9 Bean Row, walked the rocks, had some great afternoon beach time and finished with dinner at Fischer’s!!!
The weekend was very calm. We did a lot of relaxing! We realized we need Parker to take a good selfie LOL. We finished the weekend with some beach (and lots of bottle flipping challenges) and bowling with friends from home.
Now we head into camp week…
