Avery's 8th B-Day - The Actual Day

Sweet Avery turned 8 today!! She has been fighting a bladder infection all week and woke up feeling a bit better today which was a relief. We started the day with Titus Donuts and a trip to MSW for Tay's B-day. After school she got a special Starbucks treat from Ashley. And we ended with presents and dinner at Koto with G, Uncle Cullen, Aunt KJ, and Brooklyn. Crazy how fast 8 years have gone by but Avery has grown into such a kind and sweet girl - Couldn't be prouder to be her mom. Happy Birthday J-Bird!

Tay's B-Day Celebration at MSW

Avery and I went with Tay this morning to celebrate his 4th Birthday with his class. When his teacher asked when his birthday was he confidently said "July 6th" LOL. Then turned to me and whispered "I forgot - when is my birthday?". He proudly carried the earth around the sun 4 times and showed his friends all of his annual pictures that we brought. He then got to "germ bust" everyone's hands and pass out the veggie straws and smart pop. Tay and his classmates were so cute!! And this is the first time he didn't cry when we left after walking him in for an event :)

Avery's Sleepover B-Day Party

To celebrate Avery turning 8 we had a sleepover this past weekend. She had 6 friends over and 4 stayed the night. We were very busy - We had pizza, did a make your own pillow craft, opened presents, pinata, decorated frames and did a photo booth, and then had an ice cream bar. The girls then did a spa game and were giving massages and hair dos. We then settled in with popcorn and Descendants 3. The girls were asleep around midnight and up at 7 - not too bad. Had some pancakes in the morning and we all survived. Avery loved her party and it was the perfect way to celebrate 8!!
