Fun Times in GR

Nate and Debbie had some time off and were able come to Michigan for a few days. Although Hung and I had to work, Avery got lots of time with Grandpa, Grandma T, Aunt Maddie (for one day before she had to head to LA for work), Uncle Nate and Debbie. My cousin's Billy and Emily were also in town for a conference so we got to see them for a couple days, too.

Avery was in HEAVEN! Nate and Debbie played with her non-stop and I basically heard constant giggles the whole time I was working. They just jump into Avery "pretend-land" and do all the goofy things she loves. There was music, singing and dancing, games, and they got to use the pool a couple times, too. Avery also got to visit Frederick Meijer Garden's and the John Ball Zoo. I didn't get many pics since I was home working but am grateful that Avery got so much great time with the family. We just wish everyone was closer and we could see them more often!

Avery's Sleepover with Aunt Amy

After the Sprinkle, Amy took Avery to a hotel for dinner and swimming for the night. Avery got to pick where she wanted to go for dinner and chose McDonald's - Amy called to make sure it was OK and I said yes since it was a treat night for her. After a lovely meal of McNuggets they headed back to the hotel and got in a good swim before snuggling in and watching TV before bed. Avery slept great for Amy (although not sure how well rested Amy is since Avery flopped around the bed all night and was totally horizontal with her feet in Amy's face at one point :)). They got up and had breakfast at the hotel and then fit in another swim before heading home. Avery was a little nervous the week before to be without me, Hung or G for the night but she had NO issues once she started playing with Aunt Amy and I don't think missed us one bit! She told Amy in the morning "I guess I do know you well enough to spend the night." It was pretty cute and I think they both had fun although Amy may need some extra sleep.

Avery is very lucky to have an Aunt who loves her so much and gave her such a special night!

Below are some photos Amy sent me during their adventure.

Baby Boy Trieu Sprinkle

Jill Wrobel threw me a Sprinkle for the Baby Boy that is on his way in just a couple months. It was an Ice Cream Sprinkle at The Scoop in Zionsville and it was just adorable. Jill did a Maize and Blue theme to honor my alma mater which I, of course, loved :) There were cute decorations, balloons and bouquets (courtesy of my mom), a candy bar and personalized mints (courtesy of Jaime). Everyone got to have ice cream and create their own sundae - It was a lovely afternoon of visiting with my Indy friends and family. The Baby Boy got some very cute outfits and essentials (like diapers) so we are well on our way to getting ready for him to actually be here. Avery had a blast and invited her friends Lila and Alicia from school and we had Melissa to play with them - she kept them very busy all afternoon and I was so grateful to have her there to make the day fun for Avery and ensure she had lots of attention. I can't thank Jill enough for being such an amazing and generous friend.

After the Sprinkle, Aunt Amy took Avery for the night so Jill and I got to go out to dinner and catch up. It was a perfect day and am grateful for every second of it!
