Girls Weekend in South Haven

 Avery and I took a little weekend getaway to Sutton's Bay to meet up with Rebecca and Ella and get some girl time. We had so much fun! Friday night we had dinner and got ice cream and then all snuggled in bed and looked at old photos of the girls. On Saturday, we started the day with LOTS of shopping, went out to lunch and watched the Michigan game, relaxed at out condo and then went to the beach where we looked for rocks and made rock towers, then we went out for an Italian dinner, saw a movie at the cutest little movie theater and ended the night with hot tub and pool! On Sunday we had brunch and shopped around Saugatuck before heading home. It was the perfect weekend away!

The boys went out for Ramen, golfed (and Tay BEAT Hung!!), and Tay had a friend sleepover on Saturday where they decided to pull an all nighter! So they had fun while we were away :)

High School Musical - Avery Shined As Mrs. Darbus

 Avery performed in her Middle School Musical this weekend as Mrs. Darbus and she truly nailed it! We had so many people come up to us raving about how amazing Aves was - She was so authentic, funny, flamboyant and engaged the whole time she was on stage. With the exception of some microphone snafus (luckily none for Avery), it was SUCH a fun production and the cast and crew did a fabulous job. Avery had so many friends and family attend her show and we are all grateful for the support!

It was emotional at the end for Avery as this is her last BIG thing as a student in Westfield. While she can't wait for UHS next Fall, she has made some great friends and has wonderful memories of her time at Westfield and saying goodbye is going to be hard.
