After our trip to Michigan, we brought Grandpa back home with us for 10 days. While we can see his disease progressing, he remains sweet, happy and loves to laugh. We watched some Impractical Jokers and lots of Game Shows, played cards, did some puzzles, had a bonfire with S'mores and got to watch Tay's undefeated Flag Football team kill it! It was a good visit and having the time with him fills my heart.
After school ended we headed to Rockford for the weekend to spend time with family. It was awesome to get lots of Hallie time - She is the cutest!! And Avery is one awesome cousin! Tay got to play golf with Hung and Uncle Eddie and had his best round ever!!
It was a successful end to the school year - Both kids had amazing years, perfect grades and loved their teachers (minus a science on Avery was not thrilled about). We are grateful for all the love and learning they experienced and can't wait to bring on summer!! We celebrated the end of the year with our neighborhood water balloon fight and ice cream party.
