Merry Christmas 2025!

It was another magical and love filled holiday here in Indy. We kicked off break by making tons of chex mix, Corn Flake wreaths and Grandma's Christmas Cookies. Then our company piled in - We had Nate, Emma, Grandma T, Grandpa, Aunt Maddie, Uncle Eddie and Hallie. It was a full house and so much fun! We played lots of games, had fun playing with Hallie, watched movies and binged Stranger Things, Uncle Nate pulled Tay into the world of Wing Span, there was lots of golf/sim time, and we ATE and ATE and laughed a ton. The kids had a wonderful Christmas Morning - Avery got a new iPhone and G got her a MacBook for high school. Tay got a new set of Irons and a trip to Cincinnati with G to see Hamilton. Among lot of other things that they were excited to receive (Tay wanted lots of baggy sweatpants and quarter zips, Aves was wanting clothes and beauty products and shoes). Nate and Emma were able to stay an extra day and we took advantage and went bowling and to the arcade. We played games on our last night and then watched the new Naked Gun which everyone loved! We were sad to see everyone go and the house feels very empty but we are so grateful for the time together

Avery's Christmas Concert and Tay's Class Party

To wrap up the end of school, Avery performed in her Holiday Show Choir Concert - We all thought she did a beautiful job even though she said that they were ahead of the music...We couldn't tell.

The next day, I was lucky enough to be picked to chaperone Tay's class trip to the school house. It was fun to see him hang with his buddies and I actually learned a lot.

On the last day of school, G and I helped run Tay's class Holiday Party. G got to call out Bingo and embarrass Tay :) We played some fun games and did crafts and it was a lovely way to end the 1st half of the school year!

All Aboard the Polar Express

We spent another magical and amazing weekend at French Lick riding the Polar Express. This year we had Cullee, KJ and Benny Boo, Alicia and her mom Nancy and Parker. And we had the Blenders join us this year which was a perfect fit - We loved having them and the Tay loved having some buddies to hang with! On Friday we got in a little late so we had dinner at the Power Plant and then got settled in our rooms and showed the Blenders around the hotel.

On Saturday we started with buffet breakfast, spent some time in arcade and did the annual Scavenger Hunt. Then we played at the Activities Center - The boys got super into making paper airplanes and seeing who could fly the farthest, the girls colored and Ben played in the pretend "Chicken". We then had some pool time -Lots of bball for the boys while the girls went and decorated Christmas Cookies. We had a lovely dinner at the West Baden atrium, got into our matching jammies and boarded the train. Ben was really loving snuggling with Tay and the girls were funnily "hit on" by Candy and Frostbite (our two elves). Both girls were asked for their number at the end of the ride. LOL. We ended the night with pool and hot tub time (Hung hit the casino and won a couple hundred bucks!). On Sunday, we had another buffet breakfast, did a little shopping and headed home. It was one of my favorite Christmas visits to French Lick. Magical Time with the BEST Family and Friends!

We BELIEVE! Merry Christmas!
