Happy Easter!

 We celebrated a little early since we'll be on Spring Break for the official day. I can't totally tell if Tay still believes in the Easter Bunny but he was PUMPED for the egg hunt. Aves and Tay ran around the house and made it through the 30 clues until they found their baskets. It was a fun morning!

Early Spring Festivities and Fun!

 As Spring approaches, we have had some fun weekends and school activities:

• I was lucky enough to chaperone Tay's class trip to the Hamilton County Fairgrounds - We learned cool facts about farming, animals and new farming technologies. Tay really liked learning about the drones that are used for spraying weed killer! I had fun seeing him goof around with his buddies and learn some interesting facts.
• Avery shined in her Spring School photo
• We took a weekend trip to Chicago to visit Jill & Josh and Jill & Jeff. We went to a fun St. Paddy's Day parade with the Wrobel's where Tay got tons of candy and Avery was cold since it's no longer cool to wear coats. It was really fun to catch up with our old besties and see all our kids hang together!!
• G and I got to see Avery perform in her Q3 Choir Concert (Tay had soccer so Hung and I divided and conquered) - The theme was "Celestial" with the Eclipse coming in April and "Here Comes the Sun" made both of us tear up. She looked gorgeous and confident on stage!
• Tay had his first soccer tournament of the Spring Season. We usually get killed with the out-of-town teams traveling to Grand Park, but they played really well and actually won the 2nd game. It was fun to be with our soccer family and watch Tay play!
• Avery started rehearsal for her Spring Show with TPT.
• We had some Axel and Lizzy dogsitting action which Tay LOVED!
• Tay was the narrator in his class play "Goldilocks' and the Three Bullfrogs." He rehearsed a bunch with G and Avery who gave him great tips and a confidence boost, and he totally nailed it. We were super proud!
• Now we are getting ready for our Spring Break trip to Jamaica!! Woo hoo! 

NFL Combine

 We went to check out the Combine this year and see all the Michigan players in action. We tried out the obstacle course (Avery kicked my butt) and Tay did a football throwing station to work on his QB skills (The volunteers were super impressed he brought his own receiver gloves!). We saw Blake Corum complete the RB drills and also got some good shots of JJ which made Avery very happy. It was a gorgeous day out and fun to head downtown and see all the action in Indy.
