Snow Day!

 Although the expected storm was not as crazy as the forecast predicted, the kids got a snow day! They were thrilled to be able to sleep in a bit and relax on a random Wednesday. Avery slept until noon, did her e-learning and then went sledding with some neighbors on the small hills at the front of the neighborhood. Tay didn't want to go outside and preferred to watch YouTube and play video games and play a little Chess with Uncle Nate. After dinner and right before dark he decided he DID want to play in the snow so I ventured out with him and we made a snowman :)

Double Pierced!

 Avery was SO excited to get a 2nd hole in her ears this weekend. She just LOVED earrings so so much that it was easy to say yes when she asked for another hole. Am sure we'll be on to a third one soon :)

Avery - Covid and Hair Trauma!

 Avery was the 2nd in our family to succumb to Covid - We have no idea where she got it but she handled quarantine like a champ! She kept up with school as best she could, watched tv, read, did random make-up and hair tutorials, showered 2x a day out of boredom, tried on everything in her closet and slept in. 

Once she was out of Quarantine, she went to her friends house and there was a Bunchems accident. About 20 got stuck in her hair - we were worried it may need to be cut but with lots of vegetable oil and patience, Jayme and I worked them all out in about 2 hours and she is now back to normal and back to school..

Tay spent the weekend snuggling with LuLu and playing soccer in the basement!

The Rest of Winter Break 2022

 After a SUPER busy Christmas, we had a pretty relaxing week off! Some highlights:

• Lots of snuggles with Bingo and Lulu
• Uncle Nate was with us for most of it and helped us play Family Feud impersonating Steve Harvey and he also made us a yummy stuffed pepper dinner. 
• We discovered a Bad Lip Sync video of High School Musical and couldn't stop laughing!
• We went to the movies (Puss in Boots for me and Tay and Avatar for everyone else). 
• Tay played with neighbor friends exploring new xmas gifts and playing lots of video games.
• Avery also had time with friends - a sleepover at Norah B's, Nora D came over to craft, and then had Parker Sleepover. 
• We got some family tubing in once the weather warmed up with the Krawzcyk's.
• Du invited us to his club for Prime Rib buffet night.
• For NYE, we had family and Donnelson's over to watch football and celebrate the New Year!
• LOTS of dog snuggles and sleep!
