Sweet, mature, gorgeous, funny, smart and happy Avery turned 11 today. I could not be prouder to be her mom and am excited to see what this year brings! She started the day with breakfast in bed while watching Friends, then Starbucks with Hung, nails with me and G, presents, dinner at a Ramen place with the whole fam and ice cream to end the night.

We had so much fun celebrating Tay's birthday with all his buddies at Pinheads. This was really his first "friend" party since Covid. There were 12 kids bowling, eating pizza, cake and then arcade. It was a chaotic and awesome 2 hours and Tay had a total blast!! We came home and opened up lots of cool gifts - rockets, new games, science toys. All fun things we can dig into this fall. It was a great way to wrap up his birthday season!
Tay turned 7 today and he had a blast! At school they sang him Happy Birthday and he got some goodies from his teacher. I surprised him with Penn Station and a Cake Pop for lunch at school. After he got off the bus, some neighbors came over to play and then he had soccer. G, Papa, Lai Ma, Uncle Du, Uncle Cullen and Aunt KJ all came over for dinner - We ordered Beast Burgers which Tay has been dying to try (They were good!) and then we opened gifts. He was just SO HAPPY and super sweet and thrilled with everything he received. Gave huge hugs and excitement to everyone. He was super pumped for the year of YouTube premium from Uncle Du (NO commercials) and all the candy from Avery. Hung and I got him a Preston Sweatshirt and Mr. Beast tracksuit - When he held the packages he goes "Is this Merch?" - No idea how he knew but cracked me up. We ended the night with Crumbl Cookies and Star Dew Valley with Hung.
Tay is just the sweetest, smarteat, coolest kid and I can't wait to see what Year 7 brings. We are super lucky he is ours!
Happy Birthday Tay Man!
We had a blast celebrating Avery's Birthday this weekend. She had 5 friends over (Brooke, Parker, Lily, Areen and Norah B.). We started with dinner at Kona Grill, went to an Escape Room, had Crumbl Cookies, Opened presents, had a popcorn and movie to end the night. Luckily Parker had done the Runaway Train escape room before so she was able to give us some hints. We escaped with 3 seconds before the bomb went off - There were lots of screams and chaos but we did it! Avery got SUCH thoughtful cards and gifts from her friends and they had a blast giggling and squealing in the basement until 1 am. They did sleep until 9 so we are not totally exhausted today. I made blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes before the girls headed home. I had thought decorations wouldn't be "cool" but she asked for them so I was exicited to decorate and get goodies for the girls (sleep masks, fuzzy socks and face masks). It was a success and Avery is happy!!
