President's Day Weekend Fun

We had the long 4 day weekend and both kids had some good fun! Avery went to French Lick with G and Papa while Tay and I hung out around home. Du closed on his house so Hung spent most of the weekend assembling Du's Golf Simulator and mounting TV's!

Avery stayed super busy including Hight Tea, Uni Girls Final 4 Game, swimming with Parker, lots of yummy meals, reading in the atrium, bowling and shopping. She had a blast!! Tay and I went to Conner Prairie with Nolan, Mia and Cora. We also went bowling with Grayson Haverstick, he had some friends over to play and we spent a TON of time building houses and secret hideaways in Minecraft (his new obsession). He could literally talk about it for hours and hours to anyone who will listen. It's super cute!

A great weekend but it was tough getting up and moving for school today.....But they did it!

Soccer Kid!

Tay is loving his Soccer Sogility session in the winter. He gets time with his buddy Grayson, sweats a TON for an hour and is improving his skills for Spring Soccer. So happy he gave it a try!

Harry Potter Party at School

Avery's class earned a Harry Potter Party day at school and she was STOKED! She put together the cutest outfit showing off her Hufflepuff House (even yellow earrings!) and we also put together a Honeyduke's Candy Shop and Avery got to serve her class mates. Such a fun idea!

SNOW!

We finally got SNOW! It was probably about a foot and led to 3 days of Snow Days off from school. The first couple days of eLearning were smooth and by Friday the kids were over it! Avery really loved playing in the snow with neighborhood friends - The big pile across the street was a key focus and they tried to make a tunnel/fort. She also loved building forts in the backyard alone and with Nora. Tay preferred to just stay in jammies and chill inside. Tay did play with a friend on Sunday and that got him outside a little bit. It got a little dicey when our gas regulator was on the fritz and led to days with no heat or hot water but we survived, kids enjoyed the downtime, and we made it to Monday all in one piece with everything working as expected in the house!
